ANTI-MICROBIAL TREATMENT

Cool Vents
Not only do the air vents look good they also maximize air flow throughout the helmet, keeping you cool and performing your best.
AEGIS® Anti-Microbial
This product is treated with AEGIS Microbe Shield, and antimicrobial, which acts to resist the development of bacterial odors in our product.
Easy to Upgrade
Easy to upgrade with batter’s guards and chin straps: The AiR Maxx T is pre-drilled for batter’s guards and chin strap snaps are standard.
Better Heat Management
Keeping cool and fresh on the field is at the top of every player’s list. The open-air sides of TPU Cushioning, along with the channels weaving in and out throughout the cushion, do a great job of circulating air throughout the interior of the helmet.
Better Hygienics
TPU Cushioning is virtually impervious to mold, mildew, fungus and bacteria. Traditional foam padding, on the other hand, can be a breeding ground for all kinds of nasty stuff. No matter how well you maintain helmets with foam padding, they can become infested and need to be replaced. With the TPU Cushioning in your helmet, that’s no longer a concern.
AiR Maxx (TPU) Jaw Pad
The same great protection in the rest of your helmet is now available in an all-new jaw pad! The AiR Maxx Jaw Pad, available exclusively from Schutt, is a TPU jaw pad that combines the comfort and fit of a soft, vinyl-covered pad with the better protection of TPU Cushioning.

Q. I want to write my name on my helmet so I know it’s mine. Is that ok?
A. The solvents contained within the permanent marker are mostly alcohol based, and flash off immediately. Writing a person's name with a "Sharpie" brand permanent marker will not void the warranty on our batter's shells.

Q. I want to paint my softball helmet myself is that ok?
A. We strongly recommend that Schutt® Sports Mfg. Co. or one of it’s approved NAERA member reconditioners apply the new paint, because of the very specific procedures that are required. Please contact Schutt® Sports Customer Service Department for information on approved reconditioner: 1-800-426-9784. If your Schutt Softball Helmet has labeling that says ”DO NOT PAINT” please do not attempt to paint it. If your Batting Helmet does not say this the approve paints are as follows: Color-Set INC, WURDACK, INC, Sherwin Williams Corp, AKZO/Sikkens, DuPont Corp, & Createx Brand.
