If you are a Schutt® dealer, simply click on “dealer login” at the top page. Register with team Schutt® by clicking on the red “Register Here” button on the bottom. You will then have instant access to our product image library, just navigate to the product as you normally would and click on the hi-res image on the bottom.

We appreciate your asking but we’re sure you realize we receive hundreds of these requests every year. Right now, the Schutt Sports sponsorship program is limited to teams on a national level or selected Division A teams. So, unfortunately, we cannot fulfill requests from teams not at those levels. Many of our local dealers, however, have programs set up just for this! They can provide team pricing for Schutt gear and any other equipment you may need. The good news is you will not have to learn everything about the program on your own. The solvents contained within the permanent marker are mostly alcohol based, and flash off immediately. Writing a person's name with a "Sharpie" brand permanent marker will not void the warranty on our batter's shells.

Currently, Schutt Sports does not make a visor for the ION4D. We know of no other company that makes a visor that fits an ION4D without alteration. We have seen some ION4D helmets with visors installed. To the best of our knowledge, those visors have been modified by their users, not by the visor manufacturers, to fit the ION4D. We do not recommend altering a manufacturer’s product to fit the ION4D.

As with every football helmet we make with both a youth model and a varsity model, the two models are not intended to be used interchangeably. The Varsity ION 4D is intended for use at a varsity level (High School and older) while the Youth ION 4D is intended for use at the youth level (Jr. High and younger).
The Varsity ION 4D features a premium grade, polyurethane liner – designed to handle the stress and rigors of varsity, collegiate and professional football players. In addition, the jaw pads that come standard with the Varsity ION 4D are sized for older, bigger players. Also, the two chin straps included with every ION 4D (the Fusion Hard Cup and the traditional 4-Point High Deep Cup) are designed for varsity players.
The Youth ION 4D features a vinyl liner that is specifically designed for the youth market. The jaw pads that come standard with the Youth ION 4D are sized for smaller, younger players. And the chin straps that come with each Youth ION 4D (a 4-Point High hard cup and a traditional 4-Point High soft cup) are designed for youth players.

The Varsity DNA Pro+ is specifically designed for the varsity player; it’s made of a durable Polycarbonate shell that withstands more force. It comes equipped with 7/8” jaw pads to accommodate most varsity players (other sizes available).It also features a varsity soft cup chin strap that is designed to fit older, bigger players.
The Youth DNA Pro+ is specifically designed for the youth player; it’s made of a durable ABS shell that’s lighter weight than the varsity model. It comes equipped with 1 3/8” jaw pads that are thicker in size to accommodate the smaller and thinner face of youth athletes. It also features a youth soft cup chin strap with longer straps; the youth cup is smaller and is designed to fit younger, smaller players while the longer straps work in tandem with the SUREFIT slots that bring the chin strap directly on the chin – closer to the face providing a secure fit.
